Stand up "seats" on aircrafts

Some time in the future, Economy Class passengers might have to stand on the airplane: I saw this last night on Countdown with Keith Olbermann on MSNBC, and the New York Times did a story on it called One Day, That Economy Ticket May Buy You a Place to Stand (April 25 2006).

Hooman was excited by this, because he had come to the same conclusion himself while on a long flight. Me — I'm a little horrified. There is no way I can afford Business Class.
