The World Cup starts in 3 hours, according to Persian BBC News. If not for the countdown clock on their front page, I wouldn't know this. The USA is so isolated from the rest of the world it can sometimes be suffocating.
It's terrific to be here, but the price is being cut off from the rest of humanity.
