Ruby Ahmad (see comments from two previous entries ago) left a message on this website, with a link to her own site. I paid a visit, found an email address and wrote a note. She wrote back and it turns out we are second cousins!
I count this as my website's first milestone. I'm finally being read by someone who:
(a) Thought she knew me but was unsure; used this website as a jumping off point to find out more "About Blogreader"; and it has led to formal introductions between us all this is why I created the website in the first place;
(b) I can picture being friends with, in real life;
(c) Uses her real name online! [So I don't feel like I'm fighting an unfair battle with a faceless enemy.]
Of course, there are many other nice people from around the blogosphere to whom I've written and subsequently became friends with, but they have all been accidental friends (accidental, though not less valued, mind!).
With (K) Ruby things were different in that her reaching out was intentional rather than accidental. It made me feel special, like I was sought after.
I don't know if this makes any sense. I'm taking a break from making sense on this website. Have you noticed?

My dear Dizeri,
I feel so touched being a special subject of your entry here. I consider this, a small miracle, how we are re-connected again in blogosphere. Amazing. Exciting!
I believe, even if were related, it is still the friendship, that counts.
It's amazing how the blogsphere works. If the world is indeed a small place after all, the blogsphere is tiny.
Can't believe I also know you in the real. I so do believe we have met eons ago at your sis' apartment, and you discussing on Malaysian arts and crafts. You remember? ;)
diz, am sure we have met before too - where, ah?
