Ms. Ruby asked in an email which of the blogs I read are my favorites. Answer: all blogs in my Links. I may not visit those pages regularly, but when I do, I tend to read every word. My criteria for a good read are: non-fiction; down-to-earth and passionately told stories told by authors in the 30-50 year age-range.
There are a few twenty-somethings in the list too, whose pages I peek at from time to time. I consider them favorites because I've emailed them and they seem like decent people.
The next tier of blogs, which I have in my computer's bookmarks, I tend to skim through. For the most part, I don't get a sense that they are speaking to me directly. But once in a while, they'll have a post that's relevant, and because of that I don't dismiss them entirely.
And lastly, there is one blog that I visit regularly (though I haven't recently) because I feel like the author makes fun of me and I want to keep abreast of what new thing he/she is saying :)
