Veni, Vidi, Amavi

I forgot where exactly I read those words, but I thought it was a neat re-jiggering of that famous saying "Veni, vidi, vici", so that instead of "I came, I saw, I conquered" it now said "I came, I saw, I fell in love."

It occurs to me that Amavi would be a nice name for a girl, if I get around to having children.*

*I have no inclination of the sort.
