Yarn-making in Lesotho

On the knitting blog Sweet Georgia, I found an entry on yarn-making in Lesotho of all places!

I find it impressive that there is -- what seems to be -- a successful female-led enterprise in this tiny kingdom nation, whose people face obstacles like HIV/AIDS and economic hardship in their pursuit of development.

There was a handwoven rug on display in the main receiving room at the office of a company I used to work for, which might have been from Lesotho. Love that stuff!
