Series of notes to self

I am waiting for someone to blog the Microsoft bid for Yahoo, which has been rejected twice. Microsoft has a lot of money, but people hate that company with a force and ease -- it shows. (Note to self: become a caring company)

I disagree with one analysis that says if Microsoft goes hostile it will trigger a brain drain at Yahoo. Workers are essentially beggars, and beggars can't be choosers. Besides, didn't Yahoo already lay off a bunch of people recently? (Note to self: don't be a worker; be of service and do good work, but don't just be a worker)
