La Niña woes.

It has rained from afternoon til night, consistently for the past week. The kitchen is flooded again from a leak in the roof that I thought was fixed but obviously wasn't. I have one more week left in Malaysia and I am tired of having construction workers come and go, and worse still, having to wait for them to show up -- which they sometimes don't -- and then to stay there with them until they leave. I'm so tired of fixing leaks in this house. I have not even touched the mop.

The SMART Tunnel has been closed since 6 p.m. yesterday. I guess it's doing its work of managing storm waters in KL. I don't have a TV at home -- a woeful thing in itself. I wonder if they've done a story about it in the news; the tunnel, I mean.
