Scenes from the underground

On platform 2 at KL Sentral yesterday I saw two blind guys flirting. One of the blind guys had the ability see a little. I know this because I saw him peering intently at his train ticket, which he held up close. Very close. Maybe 2 centimeters away from his left eye. The other blind guy had a collapsable blind-guy cane.

I mean, they're blind -- so I walked right up to them and got a really good view from two feet away. I couldn't hear what they were talking about because the ceiling fans were too noisy. But I gathered that the skinny guy who could see a little was the teaser. I saw the big guy with the cane reach out to the skinny guy to lay a nasty pinch on his waist.

The big guy is the attention seeker in the relationship. He rested his hands on the skinny guy's arm a lot. I would even say he caressed the skinny guy's arm. At one point he pulled on the skinny guy's MP3 player, which was hanging on his neck. And I even saw him pretending to choke the skinny guy on his tie. It was sweet.

Then I saw a seeing guy watching me watching the blind guys. That was a bit too weird, so I was glad when the train pulled in.
