What baseball reveals about life patterns

Baseball teaches you that:

To win, it's important to both a) be a great stand-alone athlete and b) learn how to build a team that works. But:

1. Even a slugger doesn't hit a home run every time
2. All the great pitchers give up home runs at some point.
3. Don't worry if you lose now, because there are plenty of games left ahead.
4. Research and feedback play a crucial role in honing your talents.

5. Be brave, because sometimes it's you that lets the team down.
