There is something nice about being up at 3 in the morning when everyone around you is fast asleep, but where other people you know in different time zones are wide awake and going about their day. It just feels nice.
The thing about being up at 3 a.m., too, is that strange emotions occur to you. In my case:
1. Being overcome with wanting to have a baby.
2. Thinking that changing my name to Mrs. D. Heravi now seems desirable.
3. Feeling passionate about sorting the coloureds from the whites in preparation for laundry day tomorrow.
4. Wanting to be best friends with Howard Schultz, and thinking about how best to word the email.
5. And actually wanting to hang out with the people at work this Friday [hi] at the ratty Delegates Lounge, without my arm having to be twisted in the usual way.
How about that.

Hi Dizery,
Good to 'see' you back in the city.
Ana, it's freezing cold but otherwise good to be back :)
