Slightly bummed.

I'm bummed because something I'm working on has hit a snag and I'm left with nothing to do but twiddle my fingers and mope. The weather has been cold and grey, and we have an enormous amount of taxes to pay off next month for the first time in ages since Hooman has gotten rid of a property he co-owned with someone in Maryland and we no longer have it as a deductible.

I woke up this morning feeling very achey, like I'm coming down with something. But it's probably just my imagination. I hope I don't get sick because we were planning to see Sasha, Marina and Mohsen's new baby, this weekend. At four months, he is not a cute baby; he is positively handsome.

Connie's baby Kaela is also adorable, but they are moving further west of Montreal to a little town near Ottawa so I don't think we'll get to see them and Kevin any time soon.
